HomeGood's Spin-Off Store!

I hit up HomeGoods probably once every week or two.  Odds are, you probably do too!  So here's more good news.

TJX Cos., the parent company of not only TJ Maxx, but Marshalls and HomeGoods, have recently announced that their launching yet another home decor store along the same vein later this year.

Now, per People.com,  "CEO Ernie Herrman finally shared a few more details on the forthcoming chain, including its name: HomeSense.

By the way, HomeSense is the the name of a chain that operates in both Canada and Europe and is similar to HomeGoods in the U.S.

So what's the difference in the stores?

“HomeSense will offer consumers a different mix of home fashions from HomeGoods, but at the same grade value.”

Incidentally, like TJX's other properties - TJ Maxx and other HomeGoods stores, the new HomeSense stores will be located nearby so " customers can conveniently shop both.”

I guess we'll have to see for ourselves when stores finally open in the Charlotte area. As of this writing, I'm not able to find any info on Charlotte locations, or even opening dates for other HomeSense stores in the U.S.

We'll keep you posted!
