The Queen\'s Art Gallery presents Artevation: A Celebration of History Through Art, with a special art exhibition and fundraiser honoring the late Warren Burgess, a one time employee of the Charlotte Mecklenburg County Planning Commission. Artevation is free to the public and will feature the drawings of Mr. Burgess as well as the work of nine local artists.Their photography, fabric art, paintings, woodcuts and illustrations will be available for purchase with part of the proceeds going to the benefit of Historic Charlotte, Inc.
