Channing Tatum Comedy Filmed At Charlotte Motor Speedway
If you were at the Coca-Cola 600 last Sunday (5/28), you would have seen and heard grand marshal Channing Tatum tell the drivers to start their engines. Channing’s appearance at Charlotte Motor Speedway wasn’t his first in the past year. He and a Hollywood film crew had already been there to film scenes for the upcoming summer release, Logan Lucky.
The new comedy also places Channing at the Concord track for the Coca-Cola 600. He plays the part of ‘Jimmy Logan,’ one of two brothers who attempt to pull off a big money heist during the NASCAR race. Directed by Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven, Erin Brockovich, Traffic, Magic Mike), Logan Lucky also stars Adam Driver, Katherine Waterston, Riley Keough, Hilary Swank, Daniel Craig, Katie Holmes, Seth MacFarlane, and Dwight Yoakam. The movie opens in theaters August 18th and it looks fun:
