No matter on which side of the issue you stand, you have to admit that the James Comey hearing was pretty compelling to watch on TV last week. A lot of people tuned in to CNN to see what the former FBI director had to say about his interactions with President Trump and subsequent firing.
As someone who works in an advertising-driven business, I know the CNN broadcast drew the size of audience that advertisers crave. However, there’s a right time and a wrong time to air commercials. Conan O’Brien chose the latter. Not really, but it’s a funny bit.
