There’s a serious ‘love/hate’ relationship that I, and I’m sure others, have with Hollywood at the moment. Don’t get me wrong, I love the classic movies. I grew up watching all of these movies they are remaking. I loved them then but I can’t say I love them now. They are good, but not nearly as good as the originals.

However, that’s not where my frustrations lie. My frustration is that the most “Creative” city in the world cannot come up with anything new? How is it possible that one of the richest cities in the world due to the “arts” cannot create more original content. Instead…. ‘American Idol’ is coming back, but it’ll be totally different because it’s on a different Network. (eyeroll)

I realize that my complaining won’t change anything. Hollywood will still continue to recreate what’s already been done and we will continue to pay and be entertained.

Speaking of which, who wants to go with me to opening night of “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle”?
