Adele On Ending Her Touring Career:
“Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring.”
That’s what Adele wrote in a note to her fans recently.

Today.com reports Adele, “who is wrapping up 15 months and 123 dates on the road, says she may be bowing out of touring for good.”
Adele, who’s happily married (or not) to Simon Konecki, and mother of 3 1/2 year old Angelo, is quite happy with living a quiet life in Sussex, England.
In her note to fans, she states, “And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home. Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you.”
Who knows. Maybe in a few years, she’ll set up residence in Vegas (ala Celine Dion – one of her big influences).
I have the feeling that we’ll still see and hear Adele performing on stage in the future. After all..she’s not even 30 years old yet!
