Like all the adulterous characters on her shows, it seems that Shonda Rhimes has cheated on ABC.

Though her current shows will remain on ABC, Shondaland has made a deal to move to Netflix, where there will be new content exclusive to their platform.

E! quotes Shonda’s statement here:

“Shondaland’s move to Netflix is the result of a shared plan Ted Sarandos and I built based on my vision for myself as a storyteller and for the evolution of my company. Ted provides a clear, fearless space for creators at Netflix,” Rhimes said. “He understood what I was looking for—the opportunity to build a vibrant new storytelling home for writers with the unique creative freedom and instantaneous global reach provided by Netflix’s singular sense of innovation.”

Though Scandal is on it’s way out (last season premieres October 5), the remaining shows will still continue on ABC until they end.

Are you that addicted to Rhimes writing that you’d watch more content from her VIA Netflix?

In my opinion, Netflix is taking over the world!
