Zayn Malik has spoken publicly about his battle with anxiety in his autobiography, and continues to shed some light on his struggle with the disease.

In recent interviews, he sheds some light both on how he copes with the condition, and how he explains it to others who may need some help understanding what it’s like to deal with anxiety. Here are some other celebs who have also spoken out about battling anxiety:


Colton Haynes

The actor and model regularly speaks out about his lifelong battle with anxiety, discussing the topic in interviews and on social media. He also created this video where he shares the advice he’d give his younger self about anxiety.


Emma Stone

In a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, Emma Stone revealed that she began therapy when she was just seven years old. She explains she used to suffer from frequent panic attacks, and that counseling helped significantly. She even showed a picture that she drew about her anxiety when she was a kid.


Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has been an advocate for mental health, speaking about her battles with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders and trying to destroy the stigma surrounding these conditions. In an interview, she cites exercise as a key component to maintaining good mental health.
