Think about it: No pressure to buy presents, a chance to catch up with family and friends, sports on TV, and lots of great food. Oh, and then there are the leftovers. I always buy biggest bird we can fit in the oven for that very reason.
Not everyone in my family appreciates leftovers the way I do, and I'm fine with that. It just means more for me in the days following Thanksgiving. And there are so many tasty ways to re-purpose the turkey. Here are some of my favorites:
