Phil & Mel In The Afternoon

Weekdays 3:00PM-7:00PM

The nice thing about being married for nearly nineteen years is that my wife and I know each other well enough to avoid the Valentine’s Day-induced stress of a couple that has just begun dating. We know what we like and we don’t need much to make us happy. Time spent together is always the most important thing.

That’s not to say that we don’t occasionally dress up and go out for nice dinners and events, but we can just as easily enjoy an evening at home in front of the fire with some good food and a movie or two. And if we’re talking about Valentine’s Day, those movies might be romantic comedies of a certain vintage:

10. About Last Night… (1986)

9. Tootsie (1982)

8. Mystic Pizza (1988)

7. The Princess Bride (1987)

6. Bull Durham (1988)

5. Roxanne (1987)

4. Pretty in Pink (1986)

3. Say Anything… (1989)

2. When Harry Met Sally… (1989)

1. Moonstruck (1987)
