Have you ever thought about leaving your job to launch your own business? Living in the Charlotte area is a good start.
Personal finance website WalletHub says entrepreneurs are doing especially well in three of North Carolina’s large cities, based on access to resources, business costs, and overall business environment. These are the ten best places in America to hang your shingle in 2018:
- Oklahoma City, OK
- Austin, TX
- Sioux Falls, SD
- Missoula, MT
- Durham, NC
- Bismarck, ND
- Cheyenne, WY
- Billings, MT
- Charlotte, NC
- Raleigh, NC
WalletHub examined smaller cities for their startup-friendliness, as well. More than a few North Carolina communities also appear on that list, including Wilson, Salisbury, Sanford, New Bern, and Mooresville. You know what they say: location, location, location!
