He was just an intern for the software company in 1988 when he wrote the code for the game that would find its way into practically every office in America and the world.
The crazy thing about Wes Cherry's story is that he never made a dime from Microsoft Solitaire, despite it's global distribution and appeal. But he doesn't seem too upset about it. Wes found another interesting way to make a living. He now works with Apple. Well, apples...
