This story got me, and gave me all the feels. A guy named Alec, who lives in Ohio, has been going to his local Burger King restaurant numerous times a

week, and every time, Alec orders the same thing. Alec would only purchase a plain cheeseburger. When Alec recently explained to a Burger King employee the reason for coming for a plain cheeseburger, he was shocked by how the employee reacted.  Alec's 10 year old dog Cody was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few months ago. Alec and his family have been either making or buying burgers for Cody so that his medicine is easier to take. Burger King felt for Alec and his family, so they've offered them free cheeseburgers for Cody for as long as he lives. The story has now gone viral.

Way to go Burger King!  I think this story really got to me because two years ago, my 15 year old Jack Russell Gypsy was diagnosed with kidney failure. The vet told me that she would probably only live for a few months. Luckily, my girl is strong, because she's not only still alive, but she's going strong. I know that when she goes, I will be completely heartbroken.  She is my best friend. I swear, if it weren't for that little dog, I would have ended up on "Snapped" years ago!  LOL!

You can read more about Alec and Cody here. Sweet story! Made my heart happy!
