Research shows that women who eat more than five-and-a-half servings of fruits and vegetables a day have an 11% lower risk of breast cancer than those who eat two and a half servings or fewer. Studies also find that eating more produce is linked to a lower risk of more aggressive tumors. Your best bet is with cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts; as well as yellow and orange veggies like carrots and yellow bell peppers.
