When it comes to finding a career path, taking the one less traveled might be a good idea. For one thing, you’ll probably have less competition when applying for a job like, say, Chicken Sexer. That’s a real occupation. However, if determining the gender of poultry doesn’t do it for you, there are plenty of other unusual jobs in America.
24/7 Wall St. did a state-by-state search of job listing sites, online databases, and occupation data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to find the nation’s weirdest jobs. North Carolina’s weirdest job is Face Feeler, or someone who is paid to feel the faces of other people after they have used different skincare products, such as soaps, lotions, or razors. That doesn’t sound too appealing. On the other hand, the most unusual job title in Virginia might also be the best job in America: Beer Taster. Where do we apply?
