The Cat Nap Granddad Is Viral
75-year-old Terry Lauerman had no clue he would end up going viral, when he began volunteering at Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Terry started grooming shelter cats, and has now become the “Cat Nap Granddad.” Terry visits the shelter every day and stays for around 3 hours. He brushes the cats before dozing off for a nap with them, wakes up and repeats the process. Terry and the cats get snuggles, and naps, which is beneficial for both parties! The shelter dedicated a Facebook post to Terry, and his volunteer work, and it took off! Now the shelter is getting lots of donations. and attention due to Terry & his “cat naps.” See pictures of Terry and his furry nap buddies here. Friday feel good for ya!
