Stuffing Pumpkins Are The Perfect Food For Fall
Admittedly, I am a pumpkin freak! I love pumpkin patches, pumpkin sweets, pumpkin seeds, and just pumpkin! A few years ago I threw a small Halloween party, and I served beef stew in a pumpkin. It was a big hit. Now, I didn’t totally cook the stew in the pumpkin. I made the stew on the stove, and cleaned out a large pumpkin. I then put the stew in the pumpkin, and cooked at 350 degrees in the oven for an hour. You then place the pumpkin, which is heavy, on a large serving tray, and it makes a great centerpiece for the table. When guests spoon out stew, they also get part of the pumpkin meat. So tasty!
I found a few more stuffed pumpkin recipes this year. These look a bit easier than my beef stew pumpkin, as lots of these recipes incorporate smaller pumpkins. They look adorable and very tasty! Chilly fall weekend ahead, so stuff some pumpkins! Take a look at the recipes here and happy eating!
