November 11th Veteran’s Day Benefit
Jack Daniel from K 104.7 FM will be doing a radio remote onsite at Cougar Run Winery at 363 Church St N in Concord, to benefit our local Veteran Services Food Pantry. Bring your donation, meet Jack Daniel, and have a chance to win a prize
Let’s show our veteran’s how much we appreciate them and their service to our country. Here are the suggested donations:
- Canned food with the easy open lids (some vets don’t have can openers) especially meats and other proteins.
- Toiletries
- Socks and warm clothing
- Gift cards for Walmart or Food Lion (the VA admins can then shop for needed items not in the Food Pantry).
November 10th: Pairings Night at the Winery & Seasonal Desser Wine Release Party
Start the evening with a glass of wine and sample the Charcuterie in The Gallery Room. Then on to the Dessert Bar. We will be releasing 13 Dessert Wines this year, including our brand new one, Campfire, a toasted marshmallow port. All of the Dessert Wines have been paired with amazing desserts by our good friends at 2 Gals Kitchen, The Sweet Life, Daphne’s Bakery, Villani’s Bakery, and French Broad Chocolates.
