Celebrate The Season In Charlotte's First Santa Run

Run, Santa, run! Uptown Charlotte will be blur of red and white on Sunday, December 16th when a sea of Santas run in the city's first and only all-Santa 5K race.

The inaugural Rí Rá Santa Run is poised to become a Charlotte holiday tradition. What's not to love about hundreds of people dressed as St. Nick running through the streets for a great cause? All of the race profits benefit the Patriot Military Family Foundation.

While most 5Ks start early in the morning, this one begins at 3:00 PM. That might be because each running Santa, 21 and older, will be treated to a pint of beer, as well as Christmas cookies, after the race. You don't even have to bring your own Santa Claus suit. Every runner will be provided with one on race day. Cheers!

You can register to run and see the race course HERE.
