Go ahead and grab the tissues. This is the sweetest letter to Santa that I've seen. Usually, children will ask Santa for toys, clothes, or a pony. This

awesome young lady wants something different.

10-year-old Zadora Matias of Springfield, Mass., wrote  a letter to Santa asking him to change her dad's works schedule so that he could spend Christmas with the family. Zadora told Santa that she’s been “okay” this year, and that the only thing she wants is two extra hours with her father.         Cue the water works!

Zadora went on to tell Santa that the only people that could make her Christmas wish possible, were him and her dad's boss. Zadora's dad works at the post office, and found out that on Christmas, he has to go in at 4:30 pm, instead of 6:30 pm.  Zadora's dad, David, already spends limited time with his family due to his work schedule. I know that many parents are familiar with this scenario. Work means money, and money means food, and bills paid. It's hard to stay afloat as a single person, I can't imagine if I had children!

I'm not sure that the boss of Zadora's dad has seen her letter, but I'm REALLY hoping that Santa brings this letter to his attention. My Christmas wish is that ALL kids whose parents are required to work during the holidays, will be able to spend time with them, and truly celebrate the holidays. Make it happen Santa!
