My Favorite “Laverne & Shirley” Episode….The Diner

Monday night, actress and director Penny Marshall passed away at the age of 75 years old. Marshall had amazing success on television, and in movies.

The movies "Big" and "A League of Their Own" were two of her biggest films. But I will always remember Marshall as Laverne, from "Laverne & Shirley"

As a kid in the 70's, "Laverne & Shirley" was one of my favorite shows. I was a bit of a tomboy, and I always identified with Laverne. I loved the show so much, that I talked my dad into letting me try Laverne's signature drink, milk and Pepsi. Sadly, I didn't enjoy it as much as Laverne, but I drank a glassful, cause I wanted to be like Laverne.

One of my all time favorite episodes of "Laverne & Shirley" is posted below. "The Diner" episode sill cracks me up! A friend and I often reference this episode. Good memories!
