Every couple has them and every couple disagrees about who should do which one and when. It doesn't matter if it's cooking, cleaning, dog walking, yard work, grocery shopping, or changing diapers, household chores have to be done whether anyone wants to or not.

One married couple has figured out a way to determine who does at least one chore in their home. They've played the same video game every day since 2001 to decide who makes tea.

Reddit user Ubork1138 recently posted a photo of his parents' unusual daily routine. The couple plays a best-of-three round of Nintendo's Mario Kart 64 every morning. They usually stick to the same characters and have agreed not to use cheats, tricks, or hacks. And they know all of them. The loser has to make the tea.

Ubork1138 said that the Nintendo 64 game console was originally a gift for him and his siblings back in 1999 but their parents just took over. It sounds like they got much more out of it than perhaps the kids would have.
