Reading is important for everyone, and the nonprofit organization Little Tree Library is helping to ensure we keep our love of books alive by “inspiring

a love of reading, building community, and sparking creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world.” These little libraries are popping up everywhere, with over 75,000 libraries provided in 88 countries so far!

The coolest so far was built by Sharalee Armitage Howard in Idaho. Sharalee is a librarian, artist and former bookbinder, and she decided that the large stump of a 110-year-old cottonwood tree would make the perfect setting for a ‘Little Tree Library.’ And it truly IS the perfect little library! The stump of the tree was carved out from the inside, then topped with a roof and installed with a cozy interior and exterior lighting. It's like something out of a fariytale!

Check out this awesome little library in the video below. So cozy! I love it!
