It's the little things in life that sometimes bring the most joy to someone's life, and that's the case with this story. A Chick-fil-A in Alabama opened on

Sunday for a young man's birthday, and the details just make me smile.

Elijah Sprague, who is autistic, wanted to celebrate his 14th birthday at Chick-fil-A, which is his favorite restaurant, by "fulfilling his dream of working the drive-thru." The young mans's uncle, Walt Gilstrap, is the general manager at the location in Mobile, Alabama, and he and the owner made the decision to open Chick-fil-A's doors for that special Sunday.

Local folks took advantage of the restaurant being open on Sunday. Over 40 customers stopped by to be served by Elijah, and to wish him a happy birthday. Elijah's mom Rene Sprague says that her son had an awesome day.

Cheers and happy birthday to Elijah! Hoping all your birthdays are amazing! You can read more on Elijah here.
