Prequel To “The Sopranos” Will Have A Young ‘Tony Soprano’ Played By This Man

It is happening!

The very popular HBO show will soon have a movie based after it. However, it will be a prequel leading up to an older crew of the Sopranos. This is pretty exciting for one person who will be playing a young Tony Soprano. James Gabndolfini had passed away of course but someone very close to him will be taking the reigns.

And now...HIS SON is going to be playing the role. Michael Gandolfini will play the future New Jersey organized crime family boss in The Many Saints of Newark. This is the feature prequel to Chase’s groundbreaking TV series The Sopranos that Alan Taylor is directing for New Line.
