Man In Charlotte Creating Fun Bed Sheets For Kids In The Hospital
This is such a cool idea! A Charlotte man recently came up with an awesome idea to help kids in the hospital pass the time. He invented interactive playsheets for kids.
Kevin Gatlin, a Charlotte-based entrepreneur visited a friends child who was in the hospital. On his drive home, he began wondering,”what if this was my son? How would we preoccupy the time?” Gatlin then began brainstorming with his wife about ideas. Then, several years ago, Gatlin, his mother, and a school teacher developed Playtime Edventures.
They created bedsheets and slumber bags that cover everything from Geography, Math, Science, Grammar, word find games, over-sized game boards… all on a three-piece set. Gatlin said it was important for him to focus on kids in the hospital when he created his product.
