Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has put a house up for sale in Southern California. Actually, it's more than just a house.

It's a gated compound. Lindsey's luxurious Brentwood estate is listed for $29.5 million.

Lindsey and his wife, Kristen, bought the 1.2-acre double lot in 2004 for $6.6 million and had the five-bedroom house custom built. Kristen is an interior designer and it shows. Their home looks amazing, inside and out.

According to the real estate listing, the property is "extremely private and offers an enchanting setting with lushly landscaped grounds, captivating facade and old-world ambiance and authenticity." Ooh. Some of the features of the lavish home include formal living and dining rooms, a large master suite, and a farmhouse-style kitchen with professional appliances.

Outside, you'll find manicured lawns and gardens, multiple patios, a tennis court, guesthouse, and swimming pool. Oh, and the garage includes a really cool recording studio. It is the home of a rock star after all. You can see the listing photos here.

The timing of this sale is interesting. Lindsey Buckingham has had a few significant events come to pass recently. He sold another home less than eighteen months ago. In January of 2018, he was fired by Fleetwood Mac over a disagreement about their tour. Lindsey also had emergency open heart surgery last February. Maybe he's just trying to simplify his life.
