Throwback Thursday Video Of The Week: Poison “Nothin’ But A Good Time”
Music videos in the ’80s were the best. So many of them were like short movies. They had characters, a plot (sort of…), and a great one-song soundtrack. For whatever reason, the hair bands made some of the most entertaining videos back then. Especially Poison.

A perfect example is Poison’s video for “Nothin’ But A Good Time.” MTV had it in very heavy rotation in 1988, probably because it spoke to every teenager working a miserable summer job. All we wanted to do was get out of there and party! Sometimes I still like to kick open a door at the office. Sadly, Poison is never on the other side.
By the way, Poison lead singer Bret Michaels is making a summer tour stop at the Old Town Amphitheater in Rock Hill on Saturday, August 3rd. That will be a good time!
