So, most of you know I rescued a new dog last Monday. His name is Kramer, he is 3 years old, and he's a Beagle/Lab mix. I thought I'd share his progress.

Although he was a little skittish the first day, Kramer warmed up quickly! It did not take him long to realize that he was safe and in a loving home. He had his first bath this week, and he did great. He's interacted with other dogs and has done very well.

At home, Kramer is definitely feeling more comfortable. As you can see from the pictures below, he loves his toys. He does really well playing solo, and he's definitely a chewer.

This toy is his favorite. It's a "crinkle toy squirrel" and he carries it around.

It took Kramer a day or so to feel comfortable on my bed. I don't think he was allowed on the furniture before. Obviously, as you can see from the pic below, he's good to go now.

Kramer is just a happy dog who is eager to please. We are working on his "smacking".....he smacks ya when you stop petting him. Outside of that, he's really doing great and seems to be adjusting well.
