Halloween Tips and Tricks

Boo! The spirits are here.

Spooky things aren’t just for Halloween. We have some rich and old history in Charleston, which makes it a perfect place for the past to come back alive.

And if you are a fan of the dark side of history, then here are three haunted ghost tours you could try if you visit the area. Who knows what you just might see… (cue the spooky music)

1.Haunted Jail Walking Tour in Charleston: As the website says, this location was seen on Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, and The Travel Channel. This is an exclusive tour like none other of the Charleston Old City Jail, which housed some of Charleston’s most infamous criminals during the 19th-century!

2.Charleston Ghost & Dungeon Walking Tour: Have you ever wanted to see the inside of a real-life dungeon?! With this haunted tour, you will find the truth about one of the oldest cities and it’s bone-chilling stories. The Provost Dungeon once housed prisoners during the Revolutionary War and is quite the scary history lesson.

3.Ghosts of Charleston Tour: Like wandering through the graveyard at night? Yeah me too. With this tour, you can experience exploring the Unitarian Church Graveyard built in 1772 and see what whats scary about Charleston’s oldest ghost tour.
