Phil thinks this is a cool idea, but I think it's kinda creepy. There's a new service that let's you rent someone's pool by the hour. And you can rent pools all over the country.

"Swimply" is like AirBnB for pools. Folks with swimming pools can rent them out to complete strangers by the hour, describing itself as the "first online marketplace for pool sharing." The site features houses with pools all over the country, and folks can rent them for however long they want, although there’s usually a one hour minimum.

The founder of the company was looking for creative ways to but his rarely used pool to use, so he came up the idea of "pool sharing" and it's beginning to take off. Booking is easy, but just a heads up: like Airbnb, you'll incur a service fee on your reservation.

If I owned a pool, I don't think I'd want randoms swimming in it on a weekly basis, but that's just me.  Read more about the site here, and you can check out "Swimply" and make a reservation here.

Just a heads up, lifeguard and floaties not included!
