If you need to get your pets up to date on a few things, like shots and a license, you can do it for next to nothing. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is hosting a Rabies and Microchip Clinic this Saturday (8/10).

The clinic actually takes place on the second Saturday of every month. Pets get free rabies shots and can be chipped for only $10. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control requires that dogs, cats, and ferrets over 4 months old be vaccinated against rabies. You can also purchase pet licenses at the clinic.

Get there early. The pet clinic runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, but the line cutoff is at 10:45 a.m. Everybody who makes the cutoff is served. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is located at 8315 Byrum Drive.
