What girls weekend is complete without a little baking?

Check out the made from scratch “FunFetti” donuts my friend and I made this weekend at the beach! It was quick, easy, and delicious! We modified the recipe to make it gluten-free, but I’d be willing to be the original is just as tasty!

Ingredients:

Donuts:

  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour (we substituted with King Arthur Gluten Free Flour)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup  milk
  • 1/4 cup  Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles

Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • extra sprinkles to sprinkle on top
