The Real Flavors Of Fall? Apple Cider And Donuts!
I know we’re on the verge of pumpkin spice season. Or maybe we’re already in it. I can never tell when it starts anymore.
It might have been on the 4th of July this year. Regardless, I’ve been silent long enough. The true flavors of fall are apple cider and donuts. Nothing fancy, just liquified apples and old-fashioned cake donuts. But it’s oh so right.
Pumpkin spice is fine. I’m not advocating to get rid of it. I’m just asking for a little more love for the classic autumnal tastes of apple cider and donuts. Or, if you’re 21 or older, hard cider and apple cider donuts. I’m flexible.
