She had a choice to make. It did not go well.

Have you seen this doorbell camera video of the poor woman trying to get in her house with a beverage in one hand and a pizza in the other? I feel her pain.

We've all done something similar, haven't we? In my case, it's anytime I come home with a trunk full of groceries and try to limit my number of trips between the car and the house. That doesn't always go well either. Dropped bags, dropped keys, broken jars, broken eggs! And yet, I still try to set some sort of imaginary world record for grocery carrying efficiency.

The video is a metaphor for life and the myth of multi-tasking. If it had been me, I would have protected the pizza. The right move in this situation is to put the beverage on the ground before opening the door.

But if I could somehow use my foot to press down on the latch...
