Union County Heritage Festival
Annie Howell our Master Gardner interviewed with Francene Marie about the 2019 Union County Heritage Festival happening September 21, 2019. The Union County Extension Master Gardeners and the Heritage Festival Planning Committee is geared up for the 6th Annual Union County Heritage Festival and Wild Turkey 5K! The festival is always free and perfect fun and educational for the entire family, plus there’s plenty of parking!
There will be live entertainment, great food, a vendor fair, exhibitors, games, educational and creative activities for kids, free talks, heritage arts demonstrations, fabulous raffle prizes, cooking demonstrations and more! We are excited to collaborate again this year with the Union County 4-H Expo! The 4-H has the goal of cultivating the next generation of leaders and the Expo will feature club displays, a horse show, livestock show, rabbit, poultry and duck shows, a creative arts exhibit, a bake off, safety demonstrations and a talent showcase.
