Do you live in a flood zone in Mecklenburg County? With Hurricane Dorian and the aftermath, we’re all concerned about if we should stock up on water and food, or possibly leave our homes to a safe haven. Check out if you live in a floodplain. Go to Charlotte Mecklenburg Storm Water site and click on the 3D Flood Zone Maps. Once you click the box it will take you to a map that you’ll put your home address in the top left box and presto, you’ll see all the information you need to know. It’s better to know and be prepared than not!
