20 Fall Flicks To Check Out On The Big Screen
Over the weekend at the box office, “IT Chapter 2” dominated. The movie made $91 million over the weekend here, and it made $185 million worldwide. The last time I saw a movie in the theater was over three years ago. Yup. Not sure why I don’t go more, I enjoy seeing movies on the big screen.
“IT Chapter 2” is just one of the many scary falls flicks to check out this year. “RedRum”, a sequel to “The Shinning” is slated to come out this fall. October 4, “The Joker” starring Joaquin Phoenix and it looks quite creepy. Scary, but in a fun, Disney way is “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” starring Angelina Jolie will come out on October 18.
Fans of the Downton Abbey television series will be counting down the days to September 20, which is when the long-awaited film version of the continuing story will be released. And speaking of television, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” hits theaters on November 22. Tom Hanks plays Mr. Rogers, and the movie focuses on the television’s host life and very meaningful career.
If you dig action movies, “Terminator: Dark Fate” will hit theaters on November 1. This flick falls in line after “Judgement Day” with Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Edward Furlong reprising their roles. The action movie I really wanna see is the remake of “Charlies Angel’s” which comes out November 15. The trailer for this looks great! It stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska.
