The NBA has been on a mission to grow its brands in overseas markets. And why not? Just about every team in the league has foreign-born players on their rosters. Two of those teams, the Milwaukee Bucks and your Charlotte Hornets, will play in Paris this winter.
Nicolas Batum should feel right at home when he takes the court in his native France on Friday, January 24th. This will be the first time the Hornets play a regular-season game overseas.
Another the Charlotte sports team will also be getting some international exposure soon. The Carolina Panthers will get their passports stamped when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London on Sunday, October 13th.
