Williams mother passed away from breast cancer in 2014, at the age of 53. He's been helping women across the nation by paying for their mammogram screenings through his nonprofit organization, The DeAngelo Williams Foundation.
Williams not only lost his mother to breast cancer, he also lost four aunts to the disease. After losing so many women in his life to breast cancer, he now helps other women with screenings. Early detection is key, and Williams helps women every year.
Since he began the initiative in 2014, Williams and his foundation have paid for a total of 500 mammograms at hospitals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Memphis, Tennessee; Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Charlotte, North Carolina. Read more about Williams and his admirable efforts here.

Let's ALL make sure to call and schedule the test ASAP!!! I know that all of us have lost someone to this horrible disease, so we need to stay strong and continue the fight!
