93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Is Coming Together
Once again, my holiday season will begin with a New York City tradition. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t watch at least a few minutes of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 93rd edition is set for Thursday, November 28th (NBC, 9:00 AM) and it’s stacked with an all-star lineup.
The 2019 parade will feature 26 floats; 56 balloons; more than 1,000 clowns; and 1,200 cheerleaders and dancers. Eleven of the nation’s best marching bands, including Western Carolina University’s Pride of the Mountains Marching Band, will also grace the streets of Manhattan.

There will be plenty of celebrity sightings, too. Performers confirmed for this year’s parade include Natasha Bedingfield, Black Eyed Peas, Chicago, Ciara, Josh Dela Cruz, Debbie Gibson, Idina Menzel, Lea Michele, Ozuna, Billy Porter, Kelly Rowland, TLC, Chris Young, Chris Janson, Tenille Townes, and others.
We’ll also see the cast of Sesame Street (humans and Muppets) and Miss America 2019 Nia Franklin. Oh, and of course Santa will be bringing up the rear.
