Actor Bill Bellamy took to Instagram on Tuesday (Nov. 5) to share photos from the late John Witherspoon’s funeral.

Apparently, the comedian and actor was buried at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in Glendale, California, as Bellamy shared a photograph of himself with singer Chante Moore, and fellow comedians Chris Tucker, DL Hughley, and Cedric The Entertainer that was tagged at that cemetery.

“#Backstage celebrating the life of @johnnywitherspoon !!!” Bellamy wrote. “One of the nicest and talented people in the game!!! So much FUNNY IN THIS PICTURE!!!!”

Bellamy also shared photos of himself with Tucker and Flex Washington on his Instagram story that appeared to also be taken at the funeral, as well as group photo that also included singer Shanice and actor Joe Torry.

As we previously reported, Witherspoon is best known for his roles in Friday, The Boondocks, The Wayans Bros., and Boomerang died on Tuesday, October 29 at 77-years-old.
