If your child plans to pen a note to the big guy this holiday season, you need to know about the annual Greetings from the North Pole Post Office program. It’s simple if you follow these instructions from the U.S. Postal Service:
1. Have your child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole.
2. When your child isn’t around, open the letter and add your personalized response from Santa, with the USPS reminding parents to highlight their child's accomplishments over the past year.
3. Insert the response letter into an envelope and address it to the child and add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE to the envelope.
4. Place the complete envelope into a larger envelope with appropriate postage and address it to:
North Pole Postmark
Postmaster
4141 Postmark Drive
Anchorage, AK 99530-9998
Oh, one more important step! To guarantee your kid gets their Santa letter before Christmas, make sure it gets to Anchorage no later than December 13th.
