Cracker Barrel doesn’t have a location in Manhattan but I wouldn’t be surprised if they opened one there after Thanksgiving. Couldn’t you just see the country-style restaurant and general store nestled between two skyscrapers? Most New Yorkers could probably use some time on the front porch.
The Tennessee company is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The float includes their signature rocking chairs and glowing fireplace.

New Yorkers will also get the chance to visit a tiny Cracker Barrel-on-wheels in Lower Manhattan. Before the parade, the pop-up shop will be open for business in Foley Square. Folks will be able to buy packaged foods and vintage toys. I’m assuming that means the classic peg game will be available for purchase.
