Every time I read about a "pop-up" restaurant or bar, it's always in New York or L.A.  I was stoked to finally see a "pop-up" here in Charlotte, and I love that it's holiday-themed!

"Jingle City" is a holiday pop-up bar that has taken over Morehead Tavern until the end of December. Although the Charlotte Agenda article describes the decor as "gaudy" I am leaning more towards fun and festive.

The 12,000-square-foot, the two-story bar has five main photo ops for all your Instagram posts: Santa’s throne; a toy land blowup display; a candy-themed corner with Lost & Found vibes; Frosty on a park bench; and a white and gold winter wonderland scene. They’ll have holiday music and movies playing, and Santa will be there select dates.

The pop-up is open Thursday-Sunday now through December 29. Hours are 5 p.m. to 2 a.m on Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends. Check out "Jingle City" aka Morehead Tavern at 300 East Morehead Street. Score more info here.

Big points for the leg lamp they have cause it's  FRA-GEE_LAY!
