This Garbage Plate May Help With That NYE Hangover
Nothing, and I mean nothing about this dish looks appetizing at all but if you had one too many last night for New Year’s Eve, this may be exactly what you need.
Say hello to the “Garbage Plate”. This concoction originally started in Rochester, New York, but is now served at places all over. And each establishment has it’s own spin on the dish. The original meal is two bunless cheeseburger patties slathered in meat sauce, topped with raw onions, ketchup and mustard, and it’s then put on top of a pile of home fries and macaroni salad.
I won’t lie…it looks disgusting. I can’t imagine sitting in front of this dish hungover. But, if it helps a pounding hangover headache, I’d probably have to give it a shot. Check out the original below. LOTS of stuff in there!
I’ve always heard a good ole greasy cheeseburger and fries will help. I’ve also heard an ice cold Coke will help too. Those are usually my go-tos if I have a few too many. I say, whatever works! I know some folks around here that have “trash fries” or “disco fries”……kinda the same type of thing.
