Midtown Charlotte shoppers will soon be traveling a bit farther to find bulk toilet paper and olives. The BJ’s Wholesale Club at 900 Metropolitan Avenue is expected to be permanently closed by February 1st. I'm going to have to go elsewhere for my giant bags of coffee.

The BJ’s locations in Mooresville, Concord, and Pineville will continue to serve local customers. As part of some changes related to sales performance and real estate/market evaluation, the company is also closing their store in Geneva, New York, but opening new ones in Pensacola, Florida and Chesterfield, Michigan.
