Team Ruff And Team Fluff Set To Square Off In Puppy Bowl XVI
This Sunday isn’t just Super Bowl Sunday, it’s also Puppy Bowl Sunday. Animal Planet’s 16th annual game featuring adoptable pups happens on the same day as the “Big Game.” Kickoff between Team Ruff and Team Fluff will be at 3:00 PM.
The rules in the Puppy Bowl are a little different from those in the Super Bowl. For one thing, the Puppy Bowl allows more “players” on the field. Forty-two pups will go nose-to-nose on the gridiron. Acceptable plays include fetching, roughhousing and tug-of-war-ing their way to victory.
This year’s Puppy Bowl even has a Kitty Half-Time Show starring Jenni-Purr Lopez (like J-Lo) and Cat-ira (like Shakira), plenty of slow-motion cuteness, a water bowl cam, and the ever-popular puppy kiss cam.
