Carrie Underwood’s Family Hid In Safe Room During Tornado
Carrie Underwood was not in Nashville last night when the tornado struck the city, but her family was there.
Carrie told The Today Show this morning that she spoke to her husband Mike Fisher. She said, “He said he had to go upstairs at like 2 a.m. and grab the boys and take them down to, we have like a little safe room in our house … I bet everyone was crying at 2 a.m., like freaking out.”
Underwood also added that right now everyone is mostly “assessing” the situation and texting friends and family members to check that they are safe.

In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
