CVS opened approximately 350 drive-thru Minute Clinic coronavirus testing sites in 14 states over the past week. The pharmacy chain plans to expand to nearly 1,000 locations by the end of May.
Each testing site should be able to process about 50 self-swab tests per day. According to the CVS website, the tests are free and your results will be available in two to four days, but you do need to register in advance.
North Carolina and South Carolina were not part of the first round of states to get the drive-thru testing sites, but you can get updates on future openings HERE.
